Midnight in an imperfect world

This painting was a bit of a remix of an older painting I created. Originally inspired by artist DJ Shadow’s song ‘Midnight in a perfect world’. This piece reflects on some of the things the society was dealing with during the pandemic, Isolation, social distancing and the every changing rules and guidance.

I created two versions of this composition before settling on this one. I wanted to create a sense of open space and silence.
